The Edison High School Alumni Foundation exists for the benefit of everyone who attended and or graduated from Edison, Berlin Hts, Milan or Ehove Schools. The Foundation has created a centralized resource that can be used by the Alumni Classes to assist with pulling together their class reunions. Efforts have been made to create updated listings for a variety of resources and services that have been requested over the course of several years. While this is not a bonafide endorsement of the companies, we consistently received positive feedback by members. This is not a complete list of what is available and we welcome continuous updates from all members. Any and all feedback is welcome.
Because the Edison High School Alumni has grown to approximately 4000 members at present time, we have effectively created a buying group and local merchants have been willing and flexible to work with EHS Alumni by experimenting with large group pricing without having to give a guaranteed number of participants. Also, we have been able to negotiate pricing for economy, mid-level, and premier with local hotels. Knowing the In-Season Pricing, this can be a great savings.
For the past three years (as of 3/17), EHS Alumni consistently has had six separate classes over Labor Day with a minimum number of 100 per class ( alumni and spouses/families) for approximately 600 people to the Milan area for the Melon Festival Weekend. This is impressive to many businesses and our goal is to maximize this benefit for all EHS Alumni. While reunions are not limited to The Labor Day Weekend, we will easily be able to add and build for any time of the year.
